Artists & Vendors:
The prestigious Festival of Fine Art is one of the largest open air Fine Art venues in the Southwest featuring more than 100 local and nationally-acclaimed artists. Sponsored each year by the Sonoran Arts League, the Festival is a juried show open to artists from around the Country. With more than 400 members, the Arts League is a vital contributor to the cultural life in the Foothills, and a focal point for artists and art patrons.
Stagecoach Village is nestled in the cactus studded foothills surrounding the high desert communities of Cave Creek and Carefree. The outdoor Plaza offers a shopping and dining experience in an environment reminiscent of the Old Southwest. Panoramic views of the pristine mountain vistas, giant boulder formations, and vast stretches of the wide open Sonoran Desert, all part of the magical landscape waiting for you just minutes from downtown Scottsdale and Phoenix.
For three wonderful days the Plaza will transform into a vibrant and stunning outdoor gallery showcasing a spectacular gathering of artists offering a wide variety of original works of fine art. Artist’s works include oil, watercolor and acrylic paintings, stone and bronze sculptures, etchings and mixed media. There is a vast array of pottery, photography, hand-crafted jewelry and select fine crafts.
A true feast for the senses, Festival highlights include wine tasting, artists demonstrations, live musical performances and delicious local cuisine. After taking in the sights and sounds of the festival, make sure to leave yourself enough time to discover Cave Creek’s eclectic and renowned assortment of unique shops, galleries, boutiques, and real Western Saloons!
Entertainment
Léo A. Gosselin
"Léo has been exploring the musical possibilities of the Chapman Stick since 1976 when, at the age of 21, he saw someone trying to play the instrument in his home town of Winnipeg. He had been playing the guitar for eleven years, and did not try the “Stick” before ordering his first one, so the difficulty in mastering the instrument came as somewhat of a surprise. However, tenacity and patience paid off, and he has been playing publicly for a variety of appreciative audiences since 1984."
